“Three Words You Never Want To Hear”
You just got your hands on a great product with resale rights from one of those great giveaway sites.
You spend the next hour or two getting the sales page edited, set up your payment processor set, upload everything and start making sales. This is so cool, a ready made product that required very little work and your making money with it.
A couple of weeks go by, sales are hot, all is well…or is it?
While checking your stats to see how visitor to sale conversions are doing your email client alerts you of a new message. You figure that a customer simply has have a problem getting the product or maybe wants a refund. Ok no problem.
So you open the email and before you even finish reading it your heart starts pounding, your hands get clammy, your head starts spinning and one of your worst days has just happened.
You have just been informed that you are illegally selling a product that you have no rights to and you must stop selling the product or expect a visit from your friendly local officer with three words you never want to hear… “YOU’VE BEEN SERVED”
Stupidity of the law is no excuse

Mike Young’s blog is one I follow religiously. He is on top of the game when it comes to updating the general public of the new laws and guidelines. Especially recently when the new FTC guidelines came into play.
I find his posts are written in plain english that we can all understand. I wish I had Mike as my attorney in a child custody case as I am sure I would have understood the process rather then leaving everything into my attorney’s hands and hoping for the best.
